Your health data stays on your device

Sleepcraft requests read-only access to Apple Health data — sleep stages, heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, steps, active energy, and time in daylight. All scoring, insights, and predictions are computed on your device. Sleepcraft does not upload, transmit, or store your health data on any server, and never shares it with third parties.

What you enter

You may provide your date of birth and biological sex (used only for age- and sex-specific sleep scoring), subjective sleep ratings, and the factors you tag. This is stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, these settings sync across your own Apple devices via Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store, encrypted by Apple. Your HealthKit data itself is synced by Apple, not by Sleepcraft.

Anonymous usage analytics (PostHog)

To understand how the app is used and improve it, Sleepcraft sends anonymous product analytics to PostHog, a third-party analytics provider. These events cover things like which screens you view and actions such as viewing the paywall, starting a trial, or completing a subscription. The data is tied only to a random, app-generated identifier.

• Analytics never include your health data, sleep metrics, ratings, or factors.
• Analytics never include your name, email, or contact information — Sleepcraft has no account system and never asks for them.
• No advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking are used.

Subscriptions (RevenueCat & Apple)

Purchases are processed by Apple. Sleepcraft uses RevenueCat to manage subscription status, tied to a random, app-generated identifier. Apple handles all payment information; Sleepcraft never sees your card or billing details.

Your controls

• Health access: revoke any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Sleepcraft.
• iCloud sync: disable in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Sleepcraft.
• Delete data: remove all app data from the Settings screen, or delete the app.

Children

Sleepcraft is intended for adults (18+) and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Sleepcraft Membership subscription

• Sleepcraft Membership is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, with an optional 7-day free trial.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel any time in App Store → your account → Subscriptions. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before purchase.

Acceptable use

You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use Sleepcraft. Do not reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the app. The app is provided "as is," without warranties, to the extent permitted by law.

This document may be updated from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
